A new furniture makeover to share! I forgot to take a photo of this table to begin with, but I can definitely describe it: A handmade, black lacquered table that was kinda wobbly and had definitely seen better days... UNTIL I FOUND HER!
I used my homemade chalk paint recipe (plaster of paris + water + latex paint) to make her over. Since it was already black, the distressing looks fantastic with that black coming through.

The metal hardware on this piece is stunning! The claw feet and the intricate design on the support rods are amazing. I couldn't bear to do anything but clean them up. The natural patina adds to the vintage charm of this piece.
I just LOVE how this turned out! Coral is my new favorite color. And if you've ever been to my house, you'd say "DUH"!
